The Edo North Senatorial Aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mrs. Maria Iseme Oisamoje, has extended her heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Brigadier General Omoh Oseni Braimah, as well as to the people of Warrake in Owan East Local Government Area and the entire Owan community, following his tragic death in the line of duty.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued on Sunday, Mrs. Oisamoje described the loss as deeply painful and profoundly devastating, not only to Edo State but to Nigeria as a whole. She noted that Brigadier General Braimah was a gallant and dedicated officer who paid the ultimate sacrifice while defending innocent citizens and safeguarding the nation against threats to its peace and stability.<\/p>\n
She further remarked that the late General\u2019s life and service embodied true patriotism, courage, and an unwavering commitment to national security. According to her, his legacy of bravery and selfless service will continue to inspire generations, and his contributions to the nation will never be forgotten.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Oisamoje also expressed concern over the prevailing security challenges across the country, stating that the circumstances surrounding the General\u2019s death highlight the urgent need for more decisive, strategic, and coordinated efforts to tackle insecurity. She called on relevant authorities to ensure that those responsible are swiftly brought to justice, while also intensifying measures to protect both citizens and security personnel.<\/p>\n
She prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul and for God\u2019s comfort and strength upon his family and the people of Owan Land in this difficult time.
