April 29, 2026WE ARE NOT ELECTING A KING, BUT RETURNING A SERVANT WHO HAS SERVED WELL
…PROFESSOR JULIUS WILL GO FOR US AGAIN; Emma Praise
Elections are not coronations. They are evaluations. And when a man has passed the test of service, wisdom says: send him back to finish the work.
That is why Owan Federal Constituency must return Professor Julius Ihonvbere to the House of Representatives
*A Servant, Not a King*
Owan does not need a ruler to worship. We need a representative to work. For years, Professor Julius Ihonvbere has shown us the difference.
He walked into the House with a professor’s mind but a servant’s posture. He did not come to be seen. He came to serve. He listened more than he shouted. He built more than he blamed. That is the heart of a servant. And servants are who we return.
We do not follow rumors. We follow results. Under his watch as our voice in Abuja.
He sponsored motions and bills that addressed education, youth, and rural development — issues that wear the face of Owan.
From classrooms renovated to boreholes commissioned, his footprint is in our wards. Go and verify.
He spoke with clarity and depth. When Owan’s name was mentioned, it was with respect, not apology.
You don’t replace a man who remembers the road home. You send him back to complete the journey.
Laws take time. Projects need follow-through. Influence in the House is built, not bought. Another tenure means Professor Julius returns as a ranking member with stronger leverage to fight for Owan.
Fresh voices are good. But fresh voices without experience spend two years learning what he already knows. Owan cannot afford a tutorial. We need delivery.
Professor Julius will go for us again, because the work is not done. Our schools still need laws. Our farmers still need policy. Our youths still need federal presence.
Ask the elders. Ask the teachers. Ask the market women. He is a son sent on errand.
Kings take. Servants give. We are not electing a king, but returning a servant who has served well.
Owan Federal Constituency, the choice is clear. We are not gambling with a new name. We are consolidating with a known workman.
The Bible says, “Faithful in little, faithful in much.” He has been faithful with the little we gave him. Now we give him much again.
*Professor Julius Ihonvbere for Owan Federal Constituency. Let the servant serve again.*
