May 24, 2026“EDO NORTH 2027: RECLAIM OUR VOICE, RECLAIM OUR FUTURE. ADC PRESENTS PRINCE MUSA BRAIMOH FOR SENATE.”
Good people of Edo North Senatorial District,
Elders, Youths, Women, Party Faithful, and Stakeholders,
For too long, Edo North has been relegated to the margins of Nigeria’s political equation. Our communities in Akoko-Edo, Etsako, and Owan have watched as decisions that affect our lives are made without our input, and as the dividends of democracy are cornered by a handful of self-styled “lords of Edo North politics.” This is not representation. This is subjugation.
The time for silence is over. The time for decisive action is now.
Today, I stand before you to present a credible alternative, a man of the people, for the people. I proudly present Prince Musa Braimoh, the candidate of the African Democratic Congress [ADC] for Edo North Senatorial District in the February 2027 general elections.
Prince Musa Braimoh is not a product of money politics or backroom deals. He is a grassroots mobilizer, a bridge-builder, and a leader who understands the daily struggles of our farmers, traders, artisans, students, and civil servants. He embodies the values of integrity, accessibility, and service that our district deserves.
Our Covenant with Edo North under Prince Musa Braimoh and the ADC:
1. *Restoration of Inclusive Representation.* We will end the era of exclusion. Prince Musa Braimoh will run an open-door office, holding quarterly town halls across all three federal constituencies to ensure your voice shapes legislation and constituency projects.
2. *Equitable Distribution of Federal Presence.* We will aggressively pursue federal projects, agencies, and interventions for Edo North. No more will our district be sidelined in national budgets and appointments.
3. *Economic Empowerment and Job Creation.* We will prioritize agro-industrial development, SME support, and skills acquisition programs to harness our agricultural and mineral resources for wealth creation and youth employment.
4. *Youth and Women Inclusion.* We will institutionalize 35% representation for women and youths in our campaign structure and advocate for the same in governance, ensuring the next generation has a seat at the table.
5. *Accountability and Transparency.* Every kobo allocated to Edo North will be tracked and reported back to the people. We owe you nothing less than transparent, accountable representation.
The APC and other legacy parties have shown that they prioritize personal gain over public good. They have weaponized party structures to silence dissent and reward loyalty over competence. Edo North cannot afford another four years of this cycle.
February 2027 is not just an election. It is a referendum on the future of our district. It is a choice between continuity of marginalisation and a new dawn of purposeful, people-centered leadership.
I call on every voter, traditional ruler, religious leader, youth leader, and community organizer in Edo North to join this movement for liberation and renewal. Let us unite across party lines, clan lines, and generational lines to send a clear message: _Edo North is awake, and Edo North is ready._
Support Prince Musa Braimoh. Support the ADC. Vote for dignity. Vote for development. Vote for Edo North.
The future will not wait. Let history record that in 2027, Edo North chose hope over despair, service over self-interest, and unity over division.
Yours in the service of our people,
Comrade Dr. Kenneth Oshiogwemoh.
