State Ministry of Social welfare Visit; We shall continue to support Anambra State Government in Promoting Transparency, Accountability, Integrity and Public Awareness Against Corruption; UDEOGALANYA
Officials of the Anambra State Ministry of Social Welfare on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, paid an official inspection visit to the Anti-Corruption Awareness Directorate, Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The inspection team included Mr. Dozie Nnanyelu and Mrs. Chinasa Onumonu, who were received by Dr. (Hons.) Rebecca U. Udeogalanya, State Director, together with other officers of the Anti-Corruption Awareness Directorate.
The visit was undertaken as part of the Ministry’s inspection and monitoring responsibilities, with the officials assessing the activities, operations, organizational structure and administrative arrangements of the Directorate.
During the visit, the Ministry officials interacted with the leadership and officers of the Directorate and were briefed on its anti-corruption awareness activities, public advocacy, community engagement, sensitization programmes and collaboration with relevant government institutions.
The State Director, Rebecca U. Udeogalanya expressed appreciation to the officials of the Ministry of Social Welfare for the inspection visit and for their continued interest in the activities of the organization. She reaffirmed the Directorate’s commitment to supporting the Government of Anambra State in promoting transparency, accountability, integrity and public awareness against corruption.
The inspection also provided an opportunity for the Directorate to demonstrate its commitment to maintaining proper administrative standards and strengthening its institutional relationship with the Anambra State Government.
The visit ended with a group photograph involving the visiting Ministry officials, the State Director and other Anti-Corruption Awareness Officers.
The Directorate remains committed to the principles of Justice, Knowledge, Honesty and Security and to supporting a transparent, accountable and corruption-free Anambra State.
